The Worst Day of My Life

Weather: Clear, sunny
Direction: Southbound
Lanes: 4, vehicle was in the far left lane.
Speed @ impact: appx. 10 mph
Facts of Loss: Insured was stop at red light, 10 + vehicles in front of them to light. Vehicle came to a complete stop, got distracted by a very much hated device right now, looked down, foot came off brake and vehicle rolled into stopped other vehicle in front of them.
point of impact: front bumper to insured
point of impact: back bumper to claimant.
Injuries: No (thank goodness)
Witnesses: No
Police report: Yes (crap) insured was cited (i hate the police) for failure to maintain control of vehicle.

Coverage: Liability only, boo hoo:(
Liability: 100% all my fault!
Damages: Lots!
Resolution: about 1 month:(

**Yes this is what I do for work, everyday, take statements about accidents and determine coverage, liability, damages, and resolution. However, I never ever wanted to do it for myself:(



$1500 later + lots and lots of stress, and a very embarrassing "walk of shame," my truck has been fully restored and has now officially earned its name of "The Danger Ranger!"
