Honey I'm Home

These are the words that echoed through the house as I opened the door after battling my first episode of real life rush hour traffic.

As most everyone knows by now I started my new job this last October, Yay! This has been one of the biggest blessings in my life thus far and I can't say thank you enough to everyone who has influenced and affected my life to help me receive this opportunity.
Its been about 2 months into the workforce so far and I love love love my job. The first month was strictly classroom training and it has been followed by a month of on the floor training. It will likely be another 3 months until I am on regular intake and out of "the training corral" as they put it. What do I do you may ask? I am a auto claims adjuster handling insurance claims from the time they get reported until resolution. I take recorded statements, conduct my own investigations, determine liability, get yelled at occasionally, put up with unique personalities and spend A LOT of Hartfords money:) If you asked Parker what I do he would tell you quite simply....."I fix cars."

I've learned immense amounts of information about the insurance industry and found out quickly how complicated it really is. Its a definite stretch of my abilities but I wouldn't have it any other way. In my opinion, I have the best job ever and no one can convince me otherwise.
