Theres NO place like HOME:)

My childhood home for 17 years.

3116 Montecito Meadow Dr.

This is the view from the Smiths house that we stayed at while we visited Santa Rosa. I had to take a picture so that I could remember how hilly my home was. I took it for granted how beautiful all the trees and hills look.

Parker wanted to go see Annie in the backyard and posed for a picture.

Here she is.....Shilohs best friend Annie. These two pups played with each other constantly while growing up together. Out visit was not complete unless we could see this girl.

Santa Rosa High School towering over me and Parker as we pose for a picture.

Ahhh yes. The BEST turkey you will ever come across is from this humble store off Sonoma highway. We had to make a stop on our way out to the beach and purchase some of the moistest meat ever known to man. Even the Food Network would agree with this statement. As we entered the building we found pictures and awards from an appearance theywere featured in on the Food network. Cant wait to eat our purchase on turkey day yum!!

We continued this drive down to Bodega Bay. The ocean at last:)

We stopped at a picnic area to enjoy the sea, sunshine, oh so delicious Willie Bird sandwiches!

Come Shuush Boooms!!! Come Shuush Boooms!!!

Nothing like California sand to warm your feet and spirit.

Down the road to Goat Rock and many more wonderful beaches.

Love these beaches (is anyone getting home sick yet???)

Its not Northern California without the many vineyards cultivating along the many back roads. These vines in particular are the ones surrounding my old horse barn where I spent many many hours riding amongst and loving my equine friends.

The name has changed and its not a pretty as it use to be but this is it. My old JJ Arabian Farm.

This is the barn where I first had lessons and learned my basic riding skills. Cloverleaf ranch. I still have the first place horseshoe ribbon that I won from my first horse show there.

The old red barn off Fountain Grove Hill.

The retirement community along Mendocino Ave which still has an interesting name.

I almost missed this shot as we drove by of our families choice cleaners. Peter Pan Cleaners.

My first bank account was at this bank which is still in business and actually looks quite the same as it did 15 years ago when I opened my account.

My families love of soda runs in our blood, and it was no different when we lived in California. This was a favorite place to fuel up our cars and our stomachs with treats but most importantly drinks.

My Grandma and Grandpa Davis's home in SR.

As we drove by I was certain a the smell of sweet chocolate chip cookies still resonated from this residence.

Oak Park. This is a club swimming pool where we spent many hours as kids playing in the water. This is where I first learned to swim.

Our Santa Rosa Sixth Ward building.

My High School. Mario Carrillo High School.

My elementary school called Hidden Valley. Many many memories of walking to and from this place everyday for class, and many more memories of the friends, teachers, and fun experiences I had here.

A market where some great food was sold.

Can't find these pizza places just anywhere. This one was infamous in our town and was where we celebrated many a soccer tournaments and birthdays.

Marie Calendars restaurant with me and my brother. We have special memories of this place.
