The Butterfly Museum

A few weekends ago we took the boys for a trip to a butterfly museum here in Phoenix. The boys got a seriously early start to the morning by waking up at 5AM so we were off in good spirits.

Henry was chilling as usual.

Oliver loves playing with my phones camera.

Finally we made it to the museum.

See how many you can find

They were everywhere!

Of course they loved sitting on Uncle Parker.

This one hung out on Parkers ear for the longest time.

So as all good things must come to an end, our fun trip to the museum was soon feeling the early 5AM wake up that these boys took and they were fading fast. Oliver was the one that gave in first to his toddler meltdown ways. He had a timeout/nose-on-the-wall session in the middle of the cafeteria for disobeying grandpa followed by a grab-everything-in-sight-and-then-throw-it-on-the-ground-in-the-middle-of-the-gift-shop session, followed by a toddle-along and feel-sorry-for -yourself session as we walked back to the car. It was definitely nap time for this guy and as we got back into the car completely tired and drained from running around these boys all morning these are the words he says to me, "Aunt Bee, I'm tired." No kidding Oliver?! Well, if my goal was to tire out my nephews I must say, my work here was done. We were all ready for nap time :)
Oliver was pooped out
