Doc, theres a hole where something was....

LUXATION:
(luk´sā´shn),
n 1. the act of luxating or state of being luxated, as in the dislocation or displacement of a tooth or of an anatomical joint.

Nope this isn't a cool magic trick I do to impress friends. Me and my shoulder haven't gotten along very well ever since it met its fate of hard packed arena dirt after I was bucked off a horse when I was 12. Someone then told me, "You will never be the same again." If you would have asked me at that moment if I believed what she said, my thoughts would have been absolutely not, and full of nothing but optimism for the future of my shoulder.

Now being 26 years old, I regret to admit, I've not only "never been the same," but things have consequently gotten worse. Its slipped out so many times that I lost count somewhere around 54-55ish, and that was back in 2001! Unfortunately its not uncommon for it to go doing routine tasks such as sleeping, sneezing, or reaching for a cupboard.

The first picture is what my shoulder should normally look like. The other two are the way it looked when it rudely awoke me from a wonderful slumber turned very, very, painful shoulder luxation (thanks medical dictionary.) Someone please call the doctor for me...and hurry, my shoulder is due for another slip and I'm not waiting for Obamacare to fix it.
