This old saying couldn't be more suitable for an occasion as this one. These cacti only bloom for one day each year, and that is no exaggeration. One day they're there and the next...poof disappeared (FYI that's in goombalish language.) I felt a duty to prove this plants worth and purpose was more than just a prickly rock garden accessory. My only wish is that its one day of blooming could equate to just one day of hay fever. Luckless, I think my shooting star blew up or something because that wish isn't ever going to come true.
