34 Years Young

A thumbs up for coupons to Burger King!

This was the requested place to celebrate the birthday dinner yum:)

We all got a drink to bring home. On each cup was a tear away promotional sticker. Each one of us tried our luck at scratching one of two symbols and guess who was the only winner out of the four of us?????? The prize was a FREE cheeseburger. Now we have another reason to go back, Yay!

Parker had saved this pinata he made at school months ago for this special birthday occasion. I had completely forgotten about it but Parker was quick to remind me. We of course had to put it to use and Parker, who is on an Indiana Jones kick right now, thought of the great idea to use his toy whip as the beating stick to break the pinata open.

All the presents. Looks like a lot, but all of them but one had just small gifts inside. It doesn't take much to make him happy.

A Rubiks cube was a requested present that he had thought of.

And of course the windmill he had been waiting weeks for. He was quoted proudly saying "Now I'll be just like Parley!," after he opened it up.

And the BIG present, was of course something that he could bang on and make noise with....a play drum set. To the families delight, it's actually pretty quite:)

A small chocolate cake was served for dessert.

I found this ice cream at the local grocery store. I never had it before but have heard a lot of good about it. Supposedly it is only served in the south, or in special exclusive places. I have to say it does have a special sweet homemade taste to it. I would get it again, but sparingly, its definitely on the fattening side.
So it was an overall success. Small and simple but perfect for Parker. He loved every minute of it and I had a lot of fun too!
