Babys Gots Some New Shoes

Today Sparky had a date with the farrier to get his first pair of shoes in about 3 years wow! I'm really excited on how they turned out. Sparky has been known for having a low heel in his front feet and these shoes will help to support and higher his heels providing less pressure on his tendons. It will also allow for great gripping while me and him go on a ton of amazing rides (crossing my fingers on that one) as well as keeping his hooves from constantly chipping.

Parker said it was his "lucky day" in reference to seeing these new horse shoes.

My 3 companions for the next few weeks while my parents are out of town.

Sparky loves licking hands, especially ones like Parkers...salty yum!

This is the "black stallion" at the barn. He nickered when we walked by which got Parkers attention and subsequently he asked for this fellows name. With some quick thinking I came up with the original name of "the black stallion" being that he is a stallion and is black lol. From henceforth I'm sure Parker will remember what to call him every time we come back and also that he is now deemed the father "pop" of the baby horses in the barn, the husband to the female horses in the barn and just Sparkys friend because Sparkys "pop" still lives in California......look what I've started oy!

Heres another "friend" of Sparkys. Parker kept on asking how the horses were related...sheesh how do I know? I think I created a crazy web of equine relations lol.

...and this is the "sooo cute" baby horse that was giving Shiloh a serious checkout.

Mommy, baby and Parker all together.
