Forth of July Weekend Part 3

Me and Shiloh took a walk at the park the day of the festivities. We got there in the afternoon when they were setting up to get a sneak peek of what was in store for the later evening.

We took a break in the shade and I made her pose for a picture with the park waterfall:)

The park is so pretty, but its hard to appreciate it when its triple digits outside.

I made sure Shiloh walked on the grass so that her little paws didn't get scorched on the hot cement. I had to reel her in a few times from attempts to get too close to the water.

Warning: Do not ever ever ever buy these fireworks in AZ. Or better yet don't buy any fireworks in AZ period.

What you'll get is this: A bunch of poppers impersonating real fireworks. At first I was sure they were real fireworks. Ya know the ones that you light with a match, that I did just that. I tried lighting a poppers string, thinking it was a wick to a firework, only to be let down. No explosion, no fire, no sparklers, no nothing:(

Once we figured out we had been conned we starting making the best of it and using them as intended. Parley was a little wary at first.

He got the hang of it, and seemed to enjoy the strings that came out of them.
